New Patients

For information about our services or to schedule an appointment, please email [email protected]. You will receive an email response within 24-48 hours. New patients will have an initial assessment to establish the presenting issue(s) and determine if the therapeutic relationship is a good fit. All sessions are 50min. Sessions have the ability to scheduled for in-person or Telehealth (after initial intake session). 

Scheduling and Canceling Appointments

To cancel or reschedule an existing appointment please call 256.330.4713 and please leave a message with your name, appointment time, and a future time/day appointment request. You may also text a message via Spruce, which you'll have access to as a client or send an email to [email protected]

Please note, 24 hours notice should be given to cancel or reschedule a counseling appointment. Failure to comply with our policy will result in a fee of $75 to $100.00, which will be collected upon missed appointment.

Non-Covered Services

JasmineSerene Counseling Services specializes in providing assessment and therapy for clients. We do not specialize in providing court testimony or becoming involved in custodial agreements. We will collect a $1000 retainer for being asked to testify or is subpoenaed by an attorney to appear in court. The patient/responsible party will also agree to pay for therapist’s time ($250 per hour), including, but not limited to, preparation of documents, travel, time blocked out of office, and any legal fees incurred by Serene Counseling as part of involvement in legal action.

During the course of treatment Jasmine may be requested/required to perform additional services (professional communications, forms, reports, records requests, conferences, etc.) on the patients behalf. Services such as these will not be covered by insurance. The patient/responsible party will be liable for charges incurred for these services. Service charges will range from $50.00-$150.00 depending on level of complexity and time involved.
